Passions, Professions, and Pastimes: Stories of What Lit a Spark in Us and How We’ve Kept it Ablaze

When we met in the fall of 2000, our freshman dorms were alive with enthusiastic teenagers, brimming with excitement and already immersed in and pursuing all manner of passions. We were eager scientists ready to make the next big discovery, writers ready to publish the next NYT best-seller, artists dreaming of being the next Frida Kahlo, leaders anxiously awaiting the opportunity to change the world, dedicated athletes ready to break records and represent Stanford around the globe, or simply young adults exploring and discovering our passions and purpose. Twenty years later, we have all weathered new, and often challenging, seasons of life - unexpected joys, serious hardships, profound change - and yet, many have continued to follow their bliss and their curiosities despite (or perhaps, because of) the daily grind. Come be inspired by your classmates who have continued to cultivate their unique interests or develop new hobbies. Join us to reset, share your stories and reignite your passion-filled life!
