Gather with classmates for greeting and reconnecting to kick off Reunion Homecoming. Enjoy homemade cookies baked by ’70ers in honor of our reunion, and socialize with classmates before our signature class event.
What Are You Dealing With? ’70 WAYD(o)W Conversations
Class Headquarters: Ford Center Plaza
3:00–4:45 p.m.
Discuss fascinating current interest topic(s) in facilitated small groups. Topic offerings (and facilitators) will be selected in advance based on class-wide input. Shared ’70 history will bring unique value to these conversations focused on hobbies, pastimes, causes, concerns, or life challenges. After reunion, groups may opt to stay in touch and invite additional members.

55th Reunion Class Lunch

After an action-packed morning, it’s time to pull up a chair and relax. Join your classmates and share a meal together while catching up after years away. Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch and keep the conversation flowing!
Good Vibrations: Stories From the Class of 1970

Join your fellow ’70ers for short, extraordinary classmate stories presented in the first-ever TED Talk-style class program. Hear highlights of societal contributions, creative endeavors, passion projects, life challenges, memorable experiences, and entertaining adventures from the Class of ’70.
55th Reunion Class Party “All Right Now”
6:00–6:30 p.m. at Simonyi Center
Singles Mingle: Unaccompanied at Class Party? Come 30 minutes prior to the Class Party and meet fellow singles in the class.
6:30–9:30 p.m. at Simonyi Center
Come join the band of ’70 classmates to celebrate our ties to The Farm and each other at Simonyi Center atop Stanford’s cool, new Computing and Data Sciences (CoDa) building. Watch the sun set over campus from our balcony, enjoy an open bar, feast on good food, savor conversations with friends in quiet areas, and close the event by dancing to a playlist of ’70 music favorites.

Homecoming Hangout

Welcome to the Homecoming Hangout, a new addition to the Reunion Homecoming experience designed for all. This informal gathering space in Koret Plaza invites all Stanford alumni—whether you’re celebrating your undergraduate reunion or returning as a graduate alum—and their families to reconnect with the Farm in a relaxed atmosphere.
Open for 3-½ hours on game day, the Homecoming Hangout offers the perfect spot to unwind between scheduled events or to soak in the pre-game excitement. No tickets or reservations required—just drop by and make yourself at home.
'70 Traditional Mini-Reunions

Reconnect with your important campus groups in the best-organized mini-reunion gatherings ever. Held conveniently at the Class Headquarters during the official 3-hour “Pre-Class Tailgating” schedule, and benefitting from designated table locations and volunteer group hosts.

Class of ’70 Sunday Morning Conversations

9:30 a.m.–11:00 a.m.
Join a Class of ’70 cherished class tradition of gathering at the close of reunion weekend to share reflections in an atmosphere of openness and caring. Thoughtful questions from classmate discussion moderators will guide small-group and full-group conversations. Coffee, tea, and light breakfast fare provided. And, there may be a surprise student musical performance to lift our spirits at the start. First-time and returning reunion attendees are all welcome.
